The Landtmann is one of these elegant Viennese Grand Cafés on the opposite of the famous Burgtheater, the Imperial Theater of the Habsburg Monarchy, with an excellent reputation all across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. So the Landtmann is one of the Grand Cafés in Vienna with long tradition (est. 1873) and its great feature is the sun terrace, a winter garden, where you literally can soak up the sun due to its ideal position at the famous Ringstrasse. You can feel the splendor of this café especially in the rear part, where there are many decorative parts from the old days.
The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, especially when it comes to desserts. I had the Mini Mozarttorte, a delicious marzipan-pistacchio tart, and a Kleiner Brauner, a typical small café with a tad of milk. What a great combination.

The Bottom Line: The Café Landmann, one of the Viennese Grand Cafés, is located at the Universitätsring 4, in 1010 Wien, and provides you with delicious food, elegance, and lots of sun.
